Modo, Modo Flow teacher, studio co-owner.
Jill first found yoga at right here at Modo Yoga Markham. An active classical musician (bassoonist) and music teacher for the Toronto District School Board, Jill first came to yoga as an escape from the ‘busy-ness’ of life. She immediately fell in love with the Modo community and the first class was absolute bliss! Eventually Jill wanted to become a bigger part of this new family and signed up for the Energy Exchange program, finding the reward in mopping studio floors and serving others. Being around the studio more allowed Jill to get to know and learn from the excellent teachers, and lead to her decision to become a yoga teacher and studio owner.
Jill teaches bassoon and yoga at National Music Camp and Music By The Lake Camp, and has done Street Yoga training in the hopes of working with disadvantaged youth throughout the region.
Jill believes that yoga is for Every Body, and loves that the Modo series is accessible to all levels. She loves that the series is based on yoga therapy concepts, grounded by 6 philosophical pillars. Please join Jill in a breath driven class, giving yourself the space to balance what you know in your heart with what you feel in your body.
